The Body of Christ

What is our goal as a ministry? Simply put; to share Jesus. We love it. But who are we if we think we can reach the whole nation alone. That’s where the body of Christ comes in.

As 1 Corinthians 12: 12-14 says, “There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.”

In many situations, churches tend not to work together. This could be because of different denominations, beliefs or even just personal likes & dislikes. But ministering with JHI is not that way. We view us all as the body of Christ. There might be little differences here and there but we all serve the same Lord & King; Jesus Christ.

That’s why we can make an event like JHI Kids. One week is with church A and then the next week is with church B. Both churches are very different in their expression of ministry but the amazing thing is that Jesus still came in the midst of the kids and we had a powerful ministry time.
