Matthew 14:26-27

Mighty Servants of God. Where do you look for encouragement, especially in tough times when everyone is looking to you as the leader to keep a positive outlook? In times that test our faith and convictions, we need to know that we are where God has placed us, doing what He has called us to do, depending on Him every step of the way. As we seek to follow Him, He will show us the path He has for us and give us the encouragement we thirst for. Seek His face today.

When the disciples saw him walking on the water, they were terrified. In their fear, they cried out, “It’s a ghost!” But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”—Matthew 14:26-27 NLT

Prayer: God, be the strength of our hearts today. Let us recognize Your presence in our lives. Give us courage to steadfastly follow You wherever and however You lead us. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
