Psalm 119:14-16

Mighty Servants of God. Jesus’ visit to the temple as a boy revealed His commitment to understanding Scripture and having it shape His values and priorities. He did not allow His mind to be carried to and fro by the world’s thinking. He filled His mind with Scripture and let it drive His choices and actions. Jesus prioritized God’s Word in His life and ministry. Do you? If not, what can you do to let Scripture shape your life and leadership?

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. – Psalm 119:14-16

Prayer: Lord, the world presses in from every angle, blocking out Your truth and presence. Light a fire in my heart for delighting in, meditating on, and following Your truth. Let it shape my thoughts and actions, my values and choices, like it did for Jesus in whose name I pray. Amen.
