Proverbs 1:7

Mighty Servants of God. Have you ever been held captive by information-induced paralysis? You are not alone, we all have. We become so focused on gaining relevant knowledge that we forget to seek wisdom. Previous generations had much less information than many of us today, but they had the wisdom to seek God’s wisdom and perspective. Let their wisdom remind you to do the same. You can count on God’s wisdom, regardless of the amount of information you have.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. – Proverbs 1:7

Prayer: Lord, you invite me to draw away for time with You, to seek Your wisdom, and to find both knowledge and wisdom. Refocus me when I get overly focused on gaining more information or when I am focused only on the facts or circumstances before me. Either way, I can become paralyzed and discouraged, an easy prey to fear. Show me Your perspective. Teach me to pursue Your wisdom above all else. In Jesus’ name, amen.
