Matthew 28:8-10
Mighty Servants of God. Can you imagine being the women at the tomb on Sunday morning? Shock, disbelief, grappling with a turn of events beyond their comprehension, flickering hope, awe. Can you imagine the ripple effect as the word spread? Can you imagine awakening on Monday morning, still daring to believe that Jesus is alive?
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”—Matthew 28:8-10
Pray: Dear God, like those early disciples, let me move into this day intentionally, with a deep awareness of Your resurrection, living in new hope, with a transformed perspective on You and on life. I look to You, Jesus, and I live in Your light, praying and serving in the name of the One who lives forever, amen.
